B+T Environnement SASB+T Environnement wins new contract with Norske Skog

In a joint project with Citraval, a Schroll Group company based in Chavelot in the Vosges, B+T Environnement has been awarded the contract for the utilisation of waste from Norske Skog’s paper production ‘Gestion Déchets BOX’.

The new cardboard production unit called ‘BOX’ from Norske Skog, one of the world’s largest paper manufacturers, is due to start up in Golbey, France, this autumn and will generate around 50,000 tonnes of waste from the cardboard production process every year. This success paves the way for a long-term collaboration with Norske Skog and Citraval. B+T Environnement’s business is thus experiencing further positive momentum.

The utilisation of this production waste is a major challenge for the paper industry, particularly because energy recovery options are still being developed in France. The B+T Group’s in-depth expertise and pioneering work in the optimisation of recycling solutions together with Citraval have convinced the customer Norske Skog. Another milestone in the development of the B+T Group in France, which the team involved is particularly pleased about.
