François-Xavier Marlin took up his new position as Director of the Energy Production Centre Chalampé (EPCC) on 1 June. With his extensive expertise and many years of experience in the energy sector, Marlin will further professionalise the work at the EPCC and bring fresh perspectives to the plant.
François-Xavier Marlin holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the renowned École Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs and has over 20 years of experience in senior positions in the fields of power generation, plant construction, commissioning and project management. He began his career in the conventional energy sector, but quickly expanded his expertise to include renewable energies. Before joining the EPCC, he was Technical Director at a leading energy company where he successfully drove modernisation projects and technological innovation. His skills in strategic planning and implementation of technical solutions are invaluable to the EPCC.
In his new role at EPCC, Marlin places particular emphasis on a positive working environment. “My ultimate goal is to create an environment where people have fun at work,” says Marlin. His leadership philosophy and strategic expertise promise to make the plant not only more efficient, but also a more enjoyable place to work.
François-Xavier Marlin joined the B+T Group because “the company had the courage to be the first in France to build a plant like the EPCC”.
