B+T GroupTOP 100 award: Ranga Yogeshwar honours B+T Group

Congratulations at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar congratulates the B+T Group from Alsfeld on being awarded the TOP 100 seal. The award ceremony at the Summit took place on 23 June in Augsburg. The science journalist is accompanying the innovation competition, which is being held for the 30th time, as a mentor. In the scientific selection process, the B+T Group was particularly impressive in the category “Top Management Promoting Innovation”.

Representing 400 B+T colleagues, Tanja Bohn (shareholder), Christian Walter (Managing Director within the B+T Group) and Reemt Bernert (Head of Corporate Communications) attended the ceremony. Tanja Bohn: “A big thank you goes to the entire team of 400 employees who have worked tirelessly on new projects. Without this commitment and ingenuity, we would not have achieved this success.” Looking to the future, she adds, “We look forward to continuing to develop innovative solutions and make our contribution to a greener tomorrow.”

The TOP 100 seal is awarded to medium-sized companies for special innovative strength and above-average innovation success. The jury led by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke evaluated the applicants on the basis of more than 100 criteria from five categories: Top Management Promoting Innovation, Innovation Climate, Innovative Processes and Organisation, External Orientation/Open Innovation and Innovation Success. The jury thus scrutinises all stages of the innovation process.
