RDF Power Plant Witzenhausen
Our Witzenhausen RDF power plant is the first facility in Germany that fully supplies a big industry client with alternative energy from residue-derived fuels. At the same time, it ensures that the energetic RDF recovery is environmentally friendly and efficient.
With an energy recovery of more than 60 percent, we implement the waste-to-energy concept ideally at this location.
For this, we have created a circulating fluidised bed for medium caloric residue-derived fuels. It has a thermal fuel output of 124 megawatt.
