B+T Energie FranceChalampé power plant receives coveted certificates

The Energy Production Centre Chalampé (EPCC ) continues to write its success story. Now the B+T site has received the ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certificates for the first time. This means that the power plant has successfully completed another step towards full transition to regular operation.

ISO 50001 certification is an international standard for energy management systems. Certification shows that energy efficiency is systematically managed and demonstrates responsibility towards the environment. With an energy management system, energy consumption, CO2 emissions and thus costs can be reduced.

The ISO 14001 standard also certifies a similar thematic field. This is a requirement for an environmental management system. With this, environmental performance can be improved, legal obligations fulfilled and environmental goals achieved.
