Didenheim/Pfastatt. First woman at the helm of the B+T Group: Marie-Hélène Schneider is the new Managing Director of the two French companies of the B+T Group, B+T Environnement SAS and B+S Recyclage SAS. She took up her position on January 1, 2024, having previously been responsible for all B+T Group companies as Director of Administration and Finance.

Marie-Hélène Schneider will therefore be responsible for the B+T Group’s recycling and trading activities from Didenheim and will continue to drive forward business development and support other B+T projects.

The new Managing Director Schneider, who is also the first woman in this position in the B+T Group, is looking forward to the new challenge: “The B+T Group has done pioneering work with the processing plant and the first private power plant for the thermal recovery of non-recyclable waste in France. The next tasks will be to continue and expand these first steps on the French market. I am very much looking forward to this.”

Ralf Bohn, shareholder of the B+T Group, also praises the addition: “In Marie-Hélène Schneider, we are gaining a colleague who shows a great deal of commitment and whose experience in the waste management industry will help us to further advance our activities in France. We look forward to Marie-Hélène taking on further areas of responsibility and to strengthening our activities in France.”
